During aperiod of continued growth, Our client has an opportunity for aQuality Systems Manager, which is vital to their success as aCertification Body.
Our Client is a not for profitorganisations working together for a cleaner, safer and sustainableenvironment. Authorised by the Government to certify biomass andsolid fuel heating appliances, fuels and schemes, with plans toexpand and diversify.
Having previously gainedexperience in a Quality or Compliance Manager/Lead position, youwill be able to quickly take ownership of maintaining qualitysystems that fulfil the requirements of various standards andregulations. These include ISO 17025 in their laboratory and ISO17065, to enable successful retention of UKAS accreditation, alongwith other regulations such as GDPR and non-accredited schemestandards.
Working alongside department managers and theCertification Evaluator, you will drive a focus on quality andCertification, and encourage a culture of continuous
improvement. You'll ensure effective quality and document controlprocedures, with ongoing compliance monitoring.
Usingyour experience of leading audits, you will be able to confidentlyand professionally lead on external audits, representing theorganisation to the highest standard. Your established planning andinterpersonal skills will enable you to effectively completeinternal audits and recommend appropriate action when developmentopportunities are identified; followed by delivery of training toaid the understanding of the importance of quality procedures forall employees.
Your strong communication and proficientIT skills will enable you to report on the performance of theorganisation's quality systems, auditing plans and controlprocesses, to ensure compliance.
