Charity People are delighted to be supporting a leading UK charity that supports the wellbeing of individuals working in the financial sector, in the recruitment for a dynamic and skilled Digital Project Officer. This is a newly created role, in which you will be reporting to the Head of Digital Engagement. This role can be conducted as full-time, or part-time (salary pro-rata).

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage digital initiatives, optimise our website, and improve the user experience across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Coordinate digital projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets with the Head of Digital Engagement to guide the production process. Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of our website, including content updates, performance optimisation, and bug fixes. Implement SEO and CRO best practices to boost search engine rankings and visibility. Collaborate with external agencies to evaluate website performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and HubSpot.
  • Webinar Programme Management: Develop and manage the webinar schedule in collaboration with marketing and wellbeing teams. Ensure brand consistency in presentations and set up webinars across multiple platforms. Handle post-production tasks, including video editing and reporting on webinar data for insights and improvements.
  • Audiences and Innovation: Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Work with internal teams to develop audience surveys and incorporate user research into digital projects.

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong project management experience, especially in coordinating or managing digital projects from start to finish.
  • Proven experience managing websites, ideally using WordPress or Drupal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Google Marketing Suite (GA, Looker Studio) and an understanding of SEO and UX/UI principles.

Desirable Skills:

  • Project management qualification (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
  • Experience implementing analytics tracking using Google Tag Manager or similar tools.
  • A collaborative, inquisitive, and adaptable mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
