Your new role
Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will join the senior management team to run the finance function day to day, play a part in M&A and integration of new businesses from a finance perspective, and ultimately, be a part of an ambitious team looking to grow the business and participate in another successful exit in the coming years.
You will manage all the day-to-day activities of the finance team, provide monthly consolidated management accounts and support MI to the board, investors and other key stakeholders. This broad role includes managing FP&A activities, providing the business with regular insights across all aspects of the Group to inform decision-making as well as delivery of quarterly reforecasts and annual budgets (including rolling 5 year look forward). As Financial Controller you will prepare standalone and group financial statements, be the primary contact for all statutory audit, taxation and company secretarial compliance, and be responsible for all treasury related matters including bank covenant reporting and forecasting.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience of managing/developing a high-performing finance function and is comfortable analysing large volumes of data, being able to distil and articulate your findings into actionable insights.
As a strong all-rounder, you will be able to deliver precise reporting of actuals and consolidation and preparation of forward-looking budgets and forecasts and have the ability to work well with non-financial individuals from across the business and have a commercial focus.
