We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Cumbria, Clifton & Penrith.
What you'll do:
Lead, Manage and co-ordinate the team including supply chain to ensure that the works are delivered in accordance with the project performance, programme, and budget. Lead the team to ensure they are supported, and resources are adequately allocated to the works. Recruit, manage, supervise, train and mentor the team to enable them to optimise their work contribution. Lead the development of the working methods, detailed design input and the review of designs. Develop programmes, estimates, and forecast budgets, then assess actual programme and productivity achieved, taking action where appropriate. Develop project specific supply chain scope and contract conditions and manage the supply chain with the commercial team.What you'll bring to the role:
Experience of Project Managing Civil engineering projects within rail. Experience and demonstrable competency in undertaking the CRE-Construction in accordance with NR/L2/RSE/02009. Experience of Leading and Managing construction teams. Leadership experience by assigning clear accountabilities and authority. A collaborative attitude across internal teams and external teams. A collaborative approach with the ability to communicate with a few key stakeholders at various levels. Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering.
