Job Description

As Test & Development Body Engineer your main responsibilities are:

Plan, oversee and execute the test plans provided by the Body Exterior Function Group. Tender outsourced tests to test suppliers. Procurement and dispatch of test parts. Co-ordinate and oversee the uplift and preparation of test vehicles. Co-ordinate test vehicle transport. Control of the programme test budget. Execute internal tests. Generate internal and distribute external test reports. Maintain test timing and data within the Clients' design validation plan system (DVP). Catalogue test data. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of concerns raised during tests.

Qualifications / Skills needed

Engineering bachelor's degree 2:1 or above Knowledge and experience in automotive body validation procedures Catia V5 design capability. Understanding of automotive body materials, technologies and manufacturing processes Experience of low to medium volume vehicle production. Comprehension of PPS, APQP and/or Six Sigma.
