Job Description

Our ULC pillar operates in the fixed line sector of telecommunications industry in the North West of England; we are currently looking for a SHEQ Officer to provide invaluable health and safety support and advice to field teams and office staff. Your role as SHEQ Officer will involve:

Undertaking periodic risk assessments and implementing more robust procedures when necessary Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams

Qualifications

This is primarily a site-based role which will require a SHEQ professional with previously construction / telecommunications sector experience, in addition to a full UK driving license. You will also possess the following:

Understanding of health and safety issues as they relate to the fixed line telecommunications space, and ability to implement processes in line with industry standards Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors; we are looking for a team player who can add value to our operational teams IOSH or equivalent (or be working towards this) NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum
