About the role

We are looking for experienced field Project Supervisors ready to take on additional responsibilities, who can work independently and supervise small to medium projects and teams when needed. You will be able to excavate and record to a high standard and may already have some supervisory experience. This role requires you to write reports on the projects you undertake – our dedicated PX team can support you in gaining experience and confidence in this aspect.

Whilst we have local work coming up, staff are sometimes required to undertake stay away work.

About you

You must currently be working for UCL as an employee or agency worker and have at least 12 weeks’ continuous service.

You will ideally have a minimum of 18 months experience working in UK commercial archaeology and have a degree in archaeology or a related discipline. We are particularly keen on recruiting staff based close to our Sussex office and preference will be given to those who can be based locally. A driving license and being willing to drive for work is essential for this role.
