CALAT Digital Skills department offers a comprehensive range of courses, from beginner to Level 2, designed to help individuals gain essential skills for employment or become more confident with using their digital equipment. Courses take place in CALAT digital skills suites and in the community. Most of our digital skills courses are OCN-accredited and highly regarded by employers.

We are seeking a dedicated Curriculum Co-ordinator to oversee and enhance the delivery of CALAT’s acclaimed Digital Skills programme. One of the core responsibilities of the role revolves around training and nurturing newly appointed teachers. This role involves substantial support and development for new teachers, so  applicants must have a teaching qualification and have at least 4 years of recent experience teaching adult learners in a Further Education (FE) environment .

CALAT has been delivering adult education courses in Croydon for over 70 years and has recently been rated 'Good' in inspection. We are committed to providing high-quality courses and effective support for our learners. Our digital skills training caters to a diverse range of learners, including those referred by job centres, Mind, and other local organizations. Many of our learners face confidence issues and require nurturing to become independent learners. Therefore, experience or a willingness to work with complex learner groups is essential for this role.
