As a Workshop Supervisor you will have responsibility for running a team of Technicians ensuring that all targets are achieved and customers are satisfied with the Service. On a day-to-day basis you and your team will maintain, calibrate, repair, and prepare for hire all types of equipment within our product range and complete customer calibrations.
Daily Tasks will include:
Day to Day responsibility of the workshop and process, auditing and record keeping. Day to day supervision of the workshop calibration technicians. Make sure that the technicians understand the priority list and give out general tasks as and where needed. Update the training Matrix whilst leasing with the training department. Making sure all relevant people are up to date with company policies. Prioritise the repair of equipment that is scheduled to go on-hire or that is in high demand. Place orders for spares and consumables. Look after the calibration of the workshop standards keeping records up to date. Make sure hires go out on time and in good condition. Distribute hire orders to the relevant departments. Deal with customer enquiries where possible Accountable for spares stock. Keep the workshop compliant, clean, and tidy. Monday to Friday, with weekend and overtime when required Travel to different depot when neededWhat can we offer you in return? To succeed as a Workshop Supervisor you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
Experience in a supervisor and managerial position, managing and developing a team of employees in a workshop environment Experience of maintaining relevant calibration equipment in a workshop environment Experience of achieving targets and working within a set budget Knowledge of electrical testing equipment Passion for customer service Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team Good communication skills and IT literate Qualified to NVQ Plant Maintenance Level 3 (or willing to undergo training and assessment to this level)-
