Come and join our exciting and dynamic Children and Young People’s Integrated Therapies Team

We are recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Children and Young People’s Integrated Therapies Service in Buckinghamshire and oversee the development, delivery and coordination of a core training offer in collaboration with partner services in the Local Area. You will work closely with the CYP Therapies multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Physiotherapists, and external stakeholders such as educational psychologist, specialist teachers and educational psychologists to ensure that the therapies core training offer is delivered effectively. The core training offer will be designed to support whole-setting approaches and a place-based approach to early identification and intervention for a range of therapy needs for settings, parents/carers and partner agencies.

This post will work closely with a training Occupational Therapist as a result of additional investment following the recommissioning of the service. 

Main duties of the job

You will lead on the following activities, as well as carrying a clinical caseload in an area of your preference and based on your clinical skills: 

Training Delivery Training Program Development Training Coordination Stakeholder engagement and collaboration and incorporate feedback from participants and stakeholders to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

Essential criteria

Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent Health Professions Council Licence to Practice Evidence of continuing professional development and personal development

Desirable criteria

•Registered Member of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists •Attendance of relevant CEN Group
