Main duties of the job
The post provides an exciting opportunity to join a team where creative thinking and hard work is required to continuously improve the service delivery within Ambulance Care. The roles will provide an opportunity to challenge yourself and develop your management and strategic skills, working closely with the Ambulance Care team and other teams within WAST, but also having to negotiate and work with numerous outside agencies, including the voluntary sector, private sector and key commissioning stakeholders.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The post holder has line manager responsibility for a group of team leaders and their dedicated operational teams NEPTS and UCS.
You will have responsibility for the delivery of local operational services ensuring that objectives and performance targets are met by monitoring and maintaining standards, ensuring that contractual requirements contained within the local Commissioner Service Level Agreements. Together with Trust Policy, Procedures and Quality standards are met, and implement change where necessary

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
Essential
Educated to degree level in relevant area such as Business or Healthcare Significant experience and specialised knowledge in Business, Logistics or Healthcare.

Above average knowledge of performance information, including data interpretation. Experience of managing at a senior level within the NHS. ( managing managers) SLA and/or account management NHS complaints processes Knowledge of NEPTS in the UK
