Salary Level

The salary is dependent on a number of factors includingyour knowledge and experience in relation to the company'scurrent team structure. Location

This is a fulltime hybrid position based in Greater Londonwith flexibility for some remote work. 2 days hybrid

The Role

As a Senior PKI Engineer/ Security Engineer you will beresponsible for managing and maintaining the Public KeyInfrastructure (PKI) and their Key Management systems. This rolewould also suit a Cyber/ Security professional who has a thoroughunderstanding of Key Management Systems. You will understand theprocess of issuing and revoking digital certificates configuringand managing encryption keys and ensuring the security ofcryptographic systems. This company uses AWS although Azure Googleor Hashicorp Key Vaults will also be considered. Knowledge of ProxyServers is a must.

Responsibilities

Your role will be very hands on within the company. Youwill be joining a large exciting and busy team of 300 Cyber andSecurity professionals. The requirements are listedbelow:

  • Design build and operate PKIsolutions and environments.
  • Manage CertificateAuthority Administration including Certificate EnrolmentWeb
  • Service & Policy Web Serviceand monitor Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS)
  • Manage Key Management Systems (KMS) to ensure robustcryptographic key security.
  • You will supportand manage the PKI and Certificate deployment and automation andThales HSMs
  • Understand details of existingcertificate usecases and prepare onboarding roadmaps to the new PKIservice.
  • Work with Cyber vulnerabilityassessment teams to prioritise onboarding to automate certificatemanagement by bringing in your technology understanding.
  • Participate in the technical support of the PKI managedservice
  • Work with App Service managedcertificates private and public certificates and certificates fromKey Vault

Knowledgeand Skills

  • Technicaland professional leadership across the discipline.
  • A deep knowledge and understanding of Information and/orCyber Security.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurityprinciples and practices and an understanding ofsecurity
  • frameworks e.g. NISTISO27001
  • Good written and verbal communicationskills to liaise with stakeholders at varying
  • levels of seniority across the business. Proficient inwritten and spoken English.
  • Additionallanguage skills will be an advantage.
  • Goodunderstanding of PKI systems and services ACME protocol use ofRESTful
  • APIs. With handson experience withCertificate Authority Administration ADCS
  • monitoring and related tasks
  • Familiarity with Datainmotion and Dataatrest Encryptiontechniques
  • Expertise in PKI machine identitytechnologies such as SSH SSL TLS
  • Experiencemanaging Key Management Systems (KMS) for cryptographic keysecurity.
  • Hands on experience with:
  • PKI and Certificate deployment and automation.
  • Thales HSMs
