Teaching Personnel are looking for graduate cover supervisors to help with our outstanding partnership schools in Bath and Bristol. This is a great chance to build trusting relationships with both staff and students and making a name for yourself within the world of education

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of teachers.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • Start date: Immediate or in September

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and adhere to school policies.
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities as provided by teaching staff.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Providing support to students, answering questions, and offering guidance as needed.
  • Liaising with teaching staff and senior leadership to report on student progress and any issues arising during cover sessions.
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities as required.

The successful educator will have:

  • A bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A genuine passion for education and making a difference in the lives of young people.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
