Clinical Coder

About the Role

Loughton Health Centre has an opportunity for a clinical coder to join our busy practice support team, on a part-time basis for 30 hours per week, across 5 days, Monday-Friday.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team; Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information and medical data into the clinical system; Scanning patient information into computerised records, including medical documents, hospital records and letters, as necessary; Read-coding the information into the partnership's clinical system; Forwarding clinical documents to clinicians following practice protocol.
