CLASS 1 ADR DRIVER - £17.11 per hour

As an overview (role/area specific info):

This role will be within our Industrial Cleaning business in Sheffield as part of the Specialist Services Division. The HGV1 Driver will utilise his/her skill set to safely and efficiently drive & operate Industrial Cleaning vehicles including Articulated DISAB vacuum systems and tankers. The role holder will also assist teams at customers sites in industrial cleaning projects which may encompass confined space entry, high pressure jetting & working at height. The majority of the role holders time will be spent working with customers within a 50-mile radius of Sheffield, however some nights away may be required.

Candidates must holds a clean HGV1 licence & ADR licence with at least 2 years’ experience driving/operating articulated tanker / DISAB systems.

Essential Experience

  • 2 years Class 1 and ADR experience
  • Previously had experience driving/operating artic tankers and DISAB systems.

Desirable:

  • Worked within an industrial cleaning / services environment for over 5 years with proven track record and holds certifications in confined space entry, Blue card, Passport to Safety, Working at Height, high pressure water jetting.

Education & Qualifications

  • Class 1 LGV License
  • Valid ADR qualification

  • Ability to safely manoeuvre Arctic/Tankers into restricted & confined spaces
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • To be able and willing to work away from home on a regular basis, nights out in your cab frequently.

  • Good communication skills
