This post in the School of Nursing and Healthcare leadership, offers an opportunity to lead and innovate curriculum, learning, teaching & assessment approaches across our current and future undergraduate portfolio. Working in line with University ambitions, the school is committed to working with students to provide an excellent experience, whilst raising the research and innovation reputation. The school’s focus is on preparing future practitioners in nursing, public health and healthcare leadership, working with and for the population of Bradford and West Yorkshire. 

What you will be doing:

The post holder will

Work with academics across the school to inform, innovate and promote excellence in curriculum design, development and implementation.  Deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment activities, as part of a programme team Be the advisor/ guide to peers on aspects of academic convention, University regulations, PSRB standards (where appropriate) and programme delivery. Opportunity to bid for fund /lead projects to enhance scholarship /research in curriculum and pedagogy. Deputise for the school’s Associate Professor: undergraduate portfolio lead as required. Contribute to teaching, learning and assessment across the Nursing portfolio, which may include Bradford and our Mid Yorkshire site.

Qualifications/ experience:

Experience of university academic leadership in teaching, learning & assessment at module or programme leader level. Possess or be working towards a Master level qualification in a relevant subject area Registration with NMC required Ability to lead, inspire and performance manage others
