The Trust is delighted to offer theopportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individualto join their Team. The post holder will work withinthe screening and symptomatic service and undertake mammography and participatein Assessment clinics involving specialised radiographic techniques.

Main duties of the job

To ensurethat patients/clients are professionally cared for during the examination inRadiology departments, assessment clinics and on mobile screening units.

To ensureclients /patients have confidence in the service and can make informed choicesto promote their health.

To utilise highly developed communicationskills to assess the emotional needs of clients and patients and respondaccordingly.

To work as part of a multidisciplinary teamusing initiative to ensure clinics run effectively to deliver a quality serviceand that the clinical needs of the client/patient are met.

Toactively participate, and adhere to the quality standards of the NHSBSP,contributing to improving protocols and procedures for service improvement.

HCPC Registration Degree in radiography and posses a post graduate award in Mammography practice

Experience

Previous NHS experience at Band 6 level Experience in mammography
