A brilliant newopportunity has become available for a Kidswear Designer to join anestablished thriving fashion business who supply to the UK& International highstreet.

The business is a leadingsupplier to the UK high street and supermarkets. They are seeking atalented Kidswear designer who is adept in the technical aspects ofthe product including "fits". You will bedesigning Kidswear multiproduct (70%) this is a very importantgrowth area for the company as well as supporting them with fits(30%).

Kidswear Designer:TheRole:

• Identifyingnew trends expressing them to the internal team and turning theminto marketable designs.
  
• Workingwith the Design Manager to establish the visual direction for everycollection.
  
• Putting together precisetechnical brief packs and collaborating closely with factories toproduce initialsamples.
  

• Lead customer fitsessions and support on technical designs including taking fitcomments alterations and communicating them to the samplerooms.
  

• Ensuring promptfeedback to factories ondesigns/samples.
  
• Being aware ofproduct potential and seasonal strategy in order to introduce newtrenddriven designs tocustomers.
  
• Taking responsibility forthe important paths within development and design in order toguarantee that business deadlines arefulfilled.
  

KidswearDesigner: ThePerson:

• Previoussupplier experience withinkidswear
  
• Experience with high streetlarge volume retailers.
  
• Knowledge ingarment fits advantageous.
  
• Abilityto create technical brief sheets that are extremely precise andwell organized.
  
• Outstandingorganisationalabilities.
