An OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school in Newham is looking for a full-time ‘Geography Teacher’ ASAP. This ‘Geography Teacher’ will be required for an immediate start and this is a permanent role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a ‘Geography Teacher’ to teach in a well led, collaborative and supportive humanities faculty. Key Responsibilities of a Geography Teacher:
- Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum.
- Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
- Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Requirements of a Geography Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related field.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
- Demonstrated experience teaching geography at secondary level.
