This position sits in our Marketing & Technology service based in London. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns and augmented reality. Our clients include eBay, easyJet, smart, ASOS, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company. 

JOB PURPOSE

We’re on the hunt for a brilliant Senior Creative to join our team – someone filled with stand-out creative ideas, first class cultural insights and brilliant social trends knowledge. 

The ideal candidate will be a social-obsessed creative, ready to join our team to work on an exciting roster of consumer brands at DEPT to come up with exciting organic social, digital and tech ideas. In this role you’ll help to lead a team of creatives, work across multiple accounts and manage creative projects end to end. Your ideas will connect brands within communities and culture - not just adding to the noise, but building and creating real connections and driving engagement. As this is a lead role, you’ll be required to have exceptional attention to detail and be experienced in giving feedback that encourages and excites the team to strive for creative excellence.

You’ll bring strong experience from a social role – this could be in-house or agency - and you’ll be able to sell your ideas with flair and demonstrate this through a strong portfolio. You’ll have experience including creative leadership, concepting, presenting with confidence and backing up your ideas with strategic insights, trends and data. 

This role requires a range of skills across concepting, social shoots, storyboarding, reactive cultural content and copywriting, so it goes without saying that you’ll know the latest cultural niche coded’ social trends before anyone else does – and understand how to spin those insights into compelling social-first content for brands. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Senior Creative is exciting, varied and constantly evolving. In this role, you will:

Deliver stand out creative ideas across organic social, digital and tech. Present work to senior clients with confidence Sell ideas succinctly and confidently using data, trends and insights Lead a team of creatives, giving clear direction and feedbackJuggle multiple projects and clients simultaneouslyUse data to continuously improve ‘always on’ content and bigger ideasCreate content calendars, laydowns and roll out plansHave strong attention to detailHelp to grow our creative offering, making sure we’re taking advantage of the latest tech Participate in new business pitches 

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
