Teaching Personnel is a looking for an engaging Science educator who can inspire students of all ages and abilities in South of Bath for September, (potentially before). Proficiency in physics and/or chemistry would be advantageous.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum standards, covering various science disciplines such as biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences.
  • Creating a positive and conducive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and learn.
  • Designing and administering assessments to gauge student understanding and progress.
  • Tailoring teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
  • Incorporating technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences and facilitate student engagement.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student learning and development.
  • Extracurricular activities such as science clubs, field trips, and science fairs to provide students with additional opportunities to explore and engage with science outside of the classroom.
  • Reflecting on teaching practices, seeking feedback from colleagues and students, and actively working to improve teaching effectiveness and student outcomes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
