The Summary

Requirements

The Role

The Agency will succeed when our clients trust us toconsistently nail basics and to push them towards the extraordinary. As an Account Director you areresponsible for making these two things happen.

You will be good at building strongexternal relationships as you are sharp, analytical, and driven.
You are the sort of person thatclients look to for AV expertise, always providing meaningful, insightful, andactionable recommendations that address their business challenges.
You harbor a desire for constantexperimentation, never settling for a one-size-fits-all approach.
You lean into change within the AVlandscape, always staying ahead of the curve.
You understand the intrinsic andextrinsic value of media to each of your clients, ensuring that they do notoptimise to the wrong metrics.
Youare not precious or biased about particular media channels, and valueeffective, holistic media planning above all else.
Youare a strong believer that good ideas can come from anywhere, and you relishthe opportunity to work alongside fellow specialists.

WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO

Simply put, you are here to help deliver the best work in theindustry.

You will work alongside fellow specialists to bring togetherthe best media activation for our clients. Your specific remit will be AV(specifically audio, TV, and cinema).
You will be required to work closely with the planning andstrategy teams, ensuring client briefs are interpreted and responded tocomprehensively. You will ensure that the agency’s ‘free range planning’framework is exploited to make memorable campaigns.
Anything that leaves the building under your watch will benothing short of excellent. You and your team will search out and contributeinnovative ideas at the planning stage, striving to deliver award-worthy work.
You will make sure that we stay on top of the latestdevelopments (tech or otherwise) in the industry and provide expert advice toour clients accordingly.

Our clients should be able to expect the sharpest pricing,the best delivery and excellent aftercare, knowing that every single pound isbeing worked as hard as it possibly can be. Together with the Play Director andThe Groups trading team you will make sure that we are delivering on thiscommitment.

YOURKEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

Client Relationships

Youare responsible for devising and executing best-in-class AV strategies thatdeliver business results whilst complementing the wider media mix. Youensure that clients are kept abreast of the latest developments in the AV landscape. Youmake sure that our clients are billed on time and accurately, and deadlines forinternal reconciliations are met.

Team

Youwill work to understand how AV can complement other media channels representedby the Activation stacks. AsAV evolves and becomes increasingly internet-based, you and your team willstrive to turn new developments into competitive advantages.

Delivery

You are responsible for making sure that the agencydelivers best-in-class value to its clients, be it through pricing and/orinnovation. Across audits, SLAs, PCAs, QBRs (and other acronyms),you’ll make sure that our immediate clients always have a brilliant story totell about The Agency You will make sure our clients are never bored (in agood way)

Contributing to the Agency’s Strategy

Youwill identify partners (media owners, within the wider group or otherwise) for collaboration. Youwill contribute to the strategic direction of The Agency when it comes to ouruse of AV.

People

Support the wideractivation team to deliver what’s expected of them every day – delivering thebasics and the extraordinary You’ll provide a platform for team members to be successful.

WHAT YOU NEEDTO KNOW

TheAV Account Director is expected to have the following skills and knowledge:

Proven track record in deliveringimpactful and varied AV campaigns for clients of all sizes. Numerate, analytical, and capable ofdistilling data into actionable insights. Responsibleand accountable for their own and others’ work – delegating effectively tobalance a varied and demanding workload. Knowledgeable about clients’ businesses andmarkets, as well as how media strategy contributes to success.
