Job Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Morley, West Yorkshire. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Job Title: Lead Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Morley, West Yorkshire
Working Hours: We value work-life balance and offer both full and part-time hours. No out-of-hours work is required, and you will only need to work one Saturday morning (8:30-12:30) every four weeks. 5 day week (40 hours) for a full time role.
Salary: Up to £75,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
