We want to be the water company people want to be supplied by and want to work for.
You’ll take up this important role to join our busy water conveyancing and mapping team. You’ll use your organised approach and excellent communication skills to offer water and drainage search information.
Our team supply plans and water maps to developers, customers and other utilities companies that undertake work in our supply area. The South East Region has a high rate of growth with new housing developments and property expansion fuelling increased demand on our service.
You’ll ideally come from a customer or conveyancing services background. You’ll conduct searches, produce plans and generate water maps on request. You’ll also provide administrative assistance, raise invoices and take payments for all Waterlink associated work. You take responsibility for achieving the best results. We’re measured by response times, so you have a high attention to detail and work well under pressure.
You’ll aim to progress into a more senior role by developing your knowledge and consistently meeting objectives. So, this is an excellent chance to use your customer focused, positive and adaptable approach to contribute to the success of our team
About Waterlink
Waterlink is a commercial department within South East Water and was developed to assist domestic and commercial customers with issues relating to their private water supply.
At the point where the water Company’s responsibilities ends, usually at the property boundary; Waterlink have developed a range of services to ensure essential water supply can be maintained.
The commercial division reflects the services of a water company but tailors them to individual needs.
Together we provide a service to domestic householders, housing associations, government bodies, utilities companies, hospitals, universities and ministry of defence sites across the South East.

To ensure Con29 DW search batches from all other water companies, C2 requests from Highways, councils and other utilities, as well as chargeable requests are completed accurately and returned within SLA’s. Carry out infrastructure map and billing searches within the time constraints and accurately to avoid penalties. Assist and be the point of contact on-site with all external visitors for asset enquiries. Act as the initial escalation point for queries or complaints. To assist with Waterlink promotion via media streams and SEW internal platforms. To competently deal with sensitive card data information and take relevant correct payments and raise required paperwork and invoices on return. To follow all data protection laws when dealing with sensitive customer information and SEW systems. To liaise with other SEW departments to assist with customer queries and provide the best customer service possible.What do you bring to the role?
Previous customer or conveyancing services experience. Previous experience within an advisory role. Strong organisational and communication skills. Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Knowledge of conveyancing processes would be advantageous.What can you expect from us?
