Job description Teaching Assistant (Challenging Behaviour)

Location: Rotherham
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £86 - £110 per day
Contract Type: Full Time

About the Role:
GSL Education are currently seeking a Small Group Teaching Assistant to work in Rotherham. This role involves supporting small groups of students who exhibit challenging behaviours. You will be crucial in providing targeted educational support and behavioural management, helping students to achieve their full potential in a structured learning environment.

To Be Successful You Will Need:

  • Experience in managing challenging behaviour within an educational or similar setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students.
  • Resilience and patience to work effectively with students who require additional behavioural support.

It Is Desirable If You Have:

  • A background in special educational needs or behavioural management.
  • Qualifications related to education or childcare.
  • Training in de-escalation techniques or behaviour management strategies.
