Step Teachers are working with a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Primary School in St Albans, seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 3/4 Teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis. This school is known for its commitment to academic excellence and nurturing environment.

Year 3/4 Teacher – Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom environment, ensuring the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the school to support student learning.
  • Assess student progress, monitor their development, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and contribute to a positive school culture.

 Year 3/4 Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Have recent experience as a Year 3/4 Teacher in a Primary School setting.
  • Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • SEND experience is desirable.
