My client is looking for aMicrosoft Business Central Warehouse and DistributionBusiness Analyst. This person will be responsiblefor working on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Centralimplementation within warehouse and distribution operations. Youwill need to be a magnificent communicator for thisrole.


In this roleyou will drive system improvements streamline supply chainprocesses and provide critical insights to optimise both warehouseoperations and transportation logistics. To do this you have towork closely with other teams to gather requirements deliversolutions and ensure the efficient use of Microsoft BusinessCentrals capabilities across theorganisation.


Youwould lead the implementation of Microsoft Business CentralsWarehouse Management (WMS) and integration into existingTransportation Management systems so knowing a bit about TransportManagement systems would be good. Part of this role is to supportthe implementation of Microsoft Business Centrals financial andinventory management modules and identifying key dependencies withsupply chain processes


ConfiguringBusiness Central to support business requirements related toinventory management order processing shipping and transportationscheduling is part of the role as is developing and managingreports and dashboards for KPIs such as inventory accuracy deliverytimelines transportation costs and warehouseefficiency.

Continuouslymonitor and optimize Business Central workflows to improvewarehouse and transportation efficiency.

Provideongoing support and troubleshooting for warehouse andtransportation modules ensuring system stability and addressingissues in a timely manner.

Can you also trainpeople to be proficient in using Business Centralsfeatures


You wouldhave to document system configurations business processes andworkflows. This is to ensure smooth system operations and tosupport the testing teams to ensure test scripts provide coverageof E2E warehouse and transportation processes

YOU MUST HAVE

o 5 years as a Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 yearsin warehouse management or distribution ERPimplementations.

o 3 years workingwith Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERPsystem focusing on warehouse and distribution and have experiencein implementing and configuring Business Central for supply chainor logistics environments.

o Experience withthirdparty integrations such as warehouse management systems (WMS)transport management systems (TMS) or HHTs

Now for the juicy bittechnical Skills:

You must knowMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Business Central especially warehouse andtransportation functionalities. Also do you have experience ofintegrating Transport routing systems such as Paragon with MSBC.

Experience with EDI integrations andthirdparty logistics (3PL) systems is a plus.

Nice to have but not essential would be experience ofintegration with cutting tables or something similar Experience ofbasic production and automation within the WMSenvironment
