Verantwortlichkeiten

Unterstütze das Serviceteam durch die Auslegung des Vertrags hinsichtlich Umfang, Verpflichtungen, Rechte und Rechtsmittel und erstelle Zusammenfassungen dazu. Überprüfe eingehende Mitteilungen von Kunden/Vertragspartnern und entwerfe in Abstimmung mit dem Serviceteam routinemäßige Mitteilungen, Einreichungen und Kommunikationen, die gemäß dem Vertrag eingereicht werden. Behalte den Überblick über Ansprüche und koordiniere die Bewertung und Lösung solcher Ansprüche mit anderen Abteilungen. Unterstütze die Verhandlung und Ausarbeitung von Vergleichsvereinbarungen, um die Lösung von Streitigkeiten unter den relevanten Verträgen zu optimieren. Unterstütze das Serviceteam und arbeite eng mit der Rechtsabteilung von Vestas zusammen.

Qualifikationen

Nachgewiesene Erfahrung im Vertrags- und Anspruchsmanagement mit umfassendem Wissen über die Erstellung von Anspruchskorrespondenz im Zusammenhang mit Mängel-/Gewährleistungsansprüchen, Kostenansprüchen und Fristverlängerungsansprüchen. Bedeutende Erfahrung in der Wind- oder Schwerbauindustrie, idealerweise als Vertrags- und Claimmanager. Kaufmännisches Bewusstsein und Praxis. Umfassende Kenntnisse über die Arten und Strukturen von Verträgen in der Bau- und Energiebranche (z. B. FIDIC). Berufliche Qualifikationen (z. B. RICS) oder relevante akademische Qualifikationen (z. B. juristische Qualifikationen im Zusammenhang mit der Bauindustrie) wünschenswert.

Kompetenzen

Solide Verhandlungs- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten. Detailgenauigkeit und ausgeprägte Organisationsfähigkeiten. Selbstständige Person, die in der Lage ist, die eigene Arbeitslast mit minimaler Aufsicht zu organisieren. Effektive Zusammenarbeit innerhalb einer geografisch weit verbreiteten Gruppe. Genauigkeit und pragmatischer Ansatz im Vertragsmanagement und dessen Durchsetzung. Positive Einstellung und echtes Interesse an Prozessverbesserungen. Fließend in schriftlichem und gesprochenem Englisch in geschäftlichen und rechtlichen Umfeldern.

Shape the Future of Sustainable Energy with Vestas: Join Our Expert Contract Management Team

The Customer & Contract Management department plays a critical role in the Service Offshore department of Vestas Northern & Central Europe (NCE). The department is responsible for ensuring a high-quality customer experience and professional contract management.

Responsibilities

Support the Service team through interpretation of the contract in terms of scope, obligations, rights and remedies and provide summaries thereto Review incoming communications from the customer/contractors and, in coordination with the Service team, draft routine notices, submissions, and communications to be submitted in accordance with the contract Maintain and supervise an overview of claims, and coordinate evaluation and resolution of such claims with other departments Support negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements to optimize the resolution of disputes under the relevant contracts Support the Service team and work closely with the Vestas Legal department

Qualifications

Demonstrated contract and claims management experience with in-depth knowledge of preparing claim correspondence in connection with defect / warranty claims, cost claims and extension of time claims Significant experience in wind or heavy construction industries, ideally as a contract & claims manager Commercial awareness and practice Significant claims management experience with in-depth knowledge of preparing claim correspondence in connection with defect / warranty claims, cost claims and extension of time claims Broad knowledge of the types and structure of contracts in the construction and energy industries (e.g., FIDIC) Professional qualifications (i.e. RICS) or relevant academic qualifications (i.e. legal qualifications related to construction industry) desirable

Additional information

The primary work location can be Hamburg or Berlin in Germany, Aarhus or Copenhagen in Denmark, Edinburgh in UK or Oostende in Belgium.
