An Ofsted rated GOOD primary school in Reading is seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Classroom Teacher and Coordinator to join their permanent staff list starting September 2024. Role Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
- Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to both students and parents.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and student participation.
- Coordinate Key Stage 1 activities, ensuring alignment with the school's educational goals and standards.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote best practices and share innovative teaching strategies.
- Lead and manage KS1 teaching assistants and support staff effectively.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Uphold the school's values and ethos, contributing to a culture of respect and mutual support.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a coordinator or leadership role within a primary school setting is desirable.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
