This role will require all applicants to have previously undertaken CPI training (essential).
Experience working with individuals with complex needs,particularly in schools or group activity settings.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are essential for this role.
Ability to commit to 14-hour shifts and be actively engaging with our client throughout the day.

Main duties of the job
Provide 2:1 support for a young lady with complex needs inboth her educational and social settings.
As a positive behaviour Support Worker you will be required to follow your accredited CPI training to manage behaviours of concern safelyand compassionately whilst supporting our client.
Assist our client to attend school and participate in groupactivities ensuring she is fully engaged and supported at all times. Our client will also require support with her personal care, daily routines, communication and creating a nurturing environment in meeting her holistic needs.
As a positive behaviour support worker for Caremark you will work as part of a small, close-knit team, contributing toour client's overall well-being and growth.
About us
This position involves working on a two rolling rota which includesworking alternate weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
Your availability will need to remain consistent throughout youremployment to enable you to build positive and professional relationships withclients, families, Caremark and other healthcare professionals involved in theclients needs.

Summary of role
To share withother staff in meeting the personal care and support needs of customers in away that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes theirindependence. The care and support provided by Care and Support Workers isexpected to include support that would reasonably be given by members of the clientsfamily and is not to include tasks that would normally be undertaken by atrained nurse.
Principal responsibilities
To assist clientswho need help getting up and going to bed in the morning and evenings, includingdressing and undressing, washing, bathing and going to the toilet.
To help clientswith their mobility and with any physical disabilities, including incontinenceand use of personal aids and equipment.
To supportclients out in the community such as trips shopping, to the cinema or other daytrips.
To care for clientswho are temporarily sick and need bed nursing and help with feeding etc.
To provide careand support for clients who may be terminally ill.
To help in thepromotion of mental and physical activities of clients through talking,outings, reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.
To make andchange beds, light cleaning, emptying commodes and general tidying.
To supportclients within school or educational settings.
To supportclients with tracheostomy care, PEG care and other complex health conditionswhere applicable.
To prepare andserve light meals, clearing away and washing up.
To read andwrite reports and be involved in clients reviews and training activities.
To adhere toall Caremarks policies and procedures at all times.
To reporteither to the Case Leader or Care Manager any significant changes in the healthor circumstances of a client.
To encouragethe independence of clients wherever possible.
