Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school in Fareham who are looking for a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their inclusive team. This crucial role involves assisting teachers and enhancing the educational experiences of students.

The chosen candidate will work closely with teachers to plan and organise learning activities, prepare educational resources, maintain accurate student records, and handle various administrative tasks. Support will be tailored to students' needs, provided individually or in small groups.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and organise educational activities.
  • Prepare and manage teaching materials and resources.
  • Maintain and update student records and complete administrative duties.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to enhance their learning.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with students to support their educational growth.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish trusting relationships with students.
  • Experience in a similar role or working with young people is preferred but not required.
