We are seeking anenthusiastic and motivated Psychology Teacher to join a reputablesecondary school in Tamworth. The successful candidate will bepassionate about education and have a proven track record ofdelivering excellent teaching across KS4 and KS5. Aside from thatthe successful Psychology Teacher will work collaboratively withthe school team to ensure all students receive a positive andengaging learningexperience.

PsychologyTeacherResponsibilities:

  • Planand deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge andinspire secondary students to reach their fullpotential
  • Monitor and assess students progressand keep regular records of secondary students academicperformance
  • Create a positive learningenvironment that is both safe and conducive forlearning
  • Collaborate with school managementteaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support forSecondary students
  • Prepare and participate inschoolrelated activities such as performances events andparent/teacher meetings
  • Adhere to safeguardingpolicies and promote the welfare of allchildren
  • Use a variety of effective classroommanagement strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learningenvironment

PsychologyTeacherRequirements:

  • QTS orequivalent
  • Degree in relative field A Subjectof Specialism
  • A recognized qualification inteaching preferably a Bachelors degree in Education or any relevantfield
  • Excellent classroom management skillswith the ability to engage and motivatelearners
  • Strong interpersonal skills with anability to communicate effectively with parents staff andstudents
  • Sound knowledge of the nationalcurriculum and its application in class
  • Abilityto adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learningstyles
  • A passion for teaching and making adifference in studentslives.

PsychologyTeacher Salary

The salary for thisPsychology Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanentcontract following the MPS/UPS pay scale within the National payscale.
