Join the Close Brothers Customer Relationship Team where you will provide an efficient and effective service to Hirers, Suppliers and Brokers (‘Customers’), understanding their needs and requirements, working to exceed those wherever possible, and provide consistent support to the Sales team.

The successful candidate will processing and manage finance applications and agreements throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring we deliver an efficient and effective service to internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Proposal and Pay out processing

  • Work closely with Sales/Customers to smooth the onboarding and agreement set-up processes with a focus on getting things right first time and providing an efficient, effective service to our customers, providing real-time updates to customers and other interested parties when required
  • Provide support to the Sales/Customers with processing of new proposals, including checks on anti-money laundering, credit searching, linking exposures and loading and checking assets
  • Responsible for checking and collating documentation and associated paperwork in a timely manner to ensure Customer needs are met and CBAFL are in full compliance with current legislation and credit approvals
  • Preparing accurate payments to suppliers, brokers and customers

Delivering customer service in line with best practice

  • Receive enquiries by email or telephone, addressing these effectively and in a timely manner
  • Process all requests, where required, for in-life tasks including settlement quotes, agreement settlement, reschedules, process card payments, refunds and updates to account information plus other activity required as and when requested.
  • Ensure all requests are processed in compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and SLA’s
  • Address Customer complaints in accordance with policy

Risk & Compliance 

  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

  • Are proactive and take initiative
  • Have good analytical ability
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Can develop and maintain relationships through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Have experience of providing excellent Customer support
  • Obtain GCSE Level Mathematics and English or equivalent

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:

  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Products
  • Previously have knowledge and experience of the Financial Services Industry and in similar operational or customer facing roles
  • Have knowledge and experience of the Asset Finance industry.
