A highly reputable SEMH School Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Support Worker to join the permanent staff list of their esteemed independent, special school in Trowbridge. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

The Educational Support Worker will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support classroom activities and facilitate student engagement.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored support.
  • Promote positive behavior and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in education, child development, or a related field.

Desirable:
