​We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join the successful team at our Coventry Commercial site.

As a VDA with us, you will:

Conduct thorough assessments of commercial vehicles to determine the extent of damage. Utilise industry-standard assessment techniques to accurately evaluate the scope of repairs needed. Document findings and prepare detailed reports for insurance purposes and internal records. Communicate effectively with customers, insurance representatives, and repair technicians to ensure a smooth repair process. Collaborate with the repair team to develop repair plans and provide guidance as needed. Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and vehicle specifications to maintain proficiency in assessment procedures.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or a similar role in the automotive industry, having a focus on commercial vehicles would be beneficial but not essential. Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, including bodywork, mechanical, and electrical systems. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to accurately assess vehicle damage. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders. Proficiency in computer software for documenting assessments and generating reports. Certification or training in vehicle assessment techniques is preferred but not required.
