Job purpose: Support a teenage girl who has severe learning disabilities and ASD, to go out and about in the local community to places such as cinemas and libraries, or complete activities at home during the school holidays. Personal care support will also be part of the role, assisting when out in public toilets as she cannot be left alone.
The ideal candidate would be a female assistant who has good communication skills, who can appropriately support/regulate when she becomes upset. Experience with adults/children with learning disabilities and ASD is essential.
