We have an exciting opportunity for Inventory Clerks to join our lettings teams based in Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster.

We are looking for highly organised individuals, with a keen eye for detail, to undertake this role. Whilst previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, this is not required as full training will be provided.

Duties will include:

Compiling detailed inventory reports prior to tenants moving into a property to ensure any marks or defects are noted to ensure new tenants are not held responsible.Conducting routine property inspections during the tenant's occupation, discussing any maintenance issues for the tenant to complete and liaising with the landlords on any remedial work they may be required to carry out.Compiling end of tenancy inventory reports and negotiating with tenants and landlords with any associated charges. If a compromise is not agreed the case would then be referred to an independent panel for review based on the inventory reports compiled over the duration of the tenancy.

Requirements:

Attention to detail is an essential skillFull UK driving license and use of own car is essentialHighly organised and able to work under pressure, and to deadlines.Excellent communication skills, with a positive and professional outlookComplaint handling experience and empathetic approachIT proficient, you will be familiar with MS Office packages and able to learn quicklyPrevious experience in a similar role would be advantageous

Hours of Work

Part Time and Full time opportunities, depending on successful candidate availability. We are ideally looking for individuals who can work 3 to 5 full days per week.

Typically working 8.30am to 6:00pm, plus occasional Saturdays when required.
