The ANZ Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for managing Essilor's transportation operations, including assessing processes and systems to pinpoint areas for enhancement. They will devise and execute creative and budget-friendly strategies to optimize efficiency and ensure adherence to standards while maintaining service quality. This role involves conducting thorough logistical analyses, utilizing data insights to propose effective strategies, and presenting findings to relevant parties. Collaboration across departments will be key, as will leveraging historical data to inform future plans.
Requirements for Success:
Capture logistics and service needs across ANZ and Asia Pacific for EssilorLuxottica business groups. Monitor transport service providers' performance, initiate improvement plans, and conduct root-cause analyses. Coordinate escalations to APAC transportation team and Carriers management for prompt issue resolution. Ensure top-notch delivery performance throughout the logistics network. Assist with inbound/outbound deliveries, freight booking, and commercial documentation for international shipping. Handle transport supplier invoices, submit them for approval, and track transport costs. Support supply chain projects to enhance service, speed, and cost efficiency. Participate in update meetings with DC, service providers, and internal/external customers. Manage and influence key stakeholders and suppliers, including senior decision-makersSkills & Experience
Demonstrated capability to independently execute detailed action plans aligned with overarching objectives Proficient understanding of import/export procedures and customs regulations Adherence to procedures with precision and accuracy Strong time management, organizational, and administrative abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite- Intermediate- Advanced Excel Exceptional communication with a range of internal & external stakeholders Highly analytical with a focus on KPIs and strategic thinking The role will be located in Sydney with potential travel within the region to our laboratories & Distribution CentreWorking at EssilorLuxottica
