Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter to a busy engineering company in Walsall. As a Press Brake Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal sheets according to precise specifications. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the finished products.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up press brake machines based on job specifications and drawings.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper forming and adherence to quality standards.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter with experience on BYSTRONIC machines.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with press brake machinery and tooling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is preferred.
