Broker – D&O – European Risks

What the day will look like

Negotiation and placement of renewal and new D&O and management liability contracts Thoughtful use of insurance capacity to deliver optimum results for clients Full use of our processes to ensure compliance Continued development of insurer relationships Provide the highest level of service and technical expertise to clients: Prepare and lead market presentations Provide technical support to our network offices, making use of our in-house legal experts Draft, review and issue insurance contracts using appropriate platforms and processes Develop our business Support and contribute to business development strategies Lead or contribute to requests for proposal Represent Aon, demonstrating an understanding of corporate objectives.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Proven experience gained within the insurance industry at either a Broker or Insurer, with established market relationships and a knowledge of the D&O and/or Financial Institutions markets Technical insurance knowledge Detailed understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes Effective communication and presentation skills

Ability to negotiate with Risk Managers reporting directly to C-Suite within blue chip organisations

Experience of communicating with sophisticated insurance purchasers within the S&P 500, LSE, Euronext and NYSE

Excellent understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
