The Role
The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive tasks involving the movement of patients and a range of goods and equipment efficiently and effectively ensuring the safety and consideration of patients, staff, visitors and all users of NHS Lanarkshire services are adhered to.
Control car parks across the site identifying and taking action identified by NHS Lanarkshire e.g stickering unauthorised/ inappropriately parked vehicles .
To work alongside and support new staff in the working environment

What we'll need you to bring
Required to undertake on the job training and induction (this will generally take 4-6 weeks, depending on hours/days worked), to achieve full competency across a range of duties. Working knowledge Health & Safety including participation in risk assessing individual tasks Undertake NHS Lanarkshire compulsory training Undertake and complete NHSS Portering Services Workbook. Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment

Recognised SVQ or equivalent qualification relating to post.
Contract type
Permanent Part Time 20 hoursIF PART TIME: Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Portering Department within University Hospital Monklands.
The working pattern for this role will be Monday - Friday 5pm- 9pm.
