As the UK Manging Director you will be key tointegrating MacAlister Elliott and Partners (MEP) / PetersonProjects & Solutions UK (PPS UK) operating within the RoyalPeterson Control Union Group since its establishment in 1920. MEPjoined the group in 2016, while Peterson Projects and Solutions UKjoined the international network in 2023. The collaborationseamlessly integrates fisheries, aquaculture consultancy, andsustainability expertise. MEP's seasoned team provides extensiveinsights into marine ecosystems, economic impacts, aquaculture, andfisheries operations, serving clients globally and earning trustfrom esteemed organisations like the World Bank and the EuropeanCommission. Peterson Projects and Solutions UK specializes inguiding organisations towards sustainability goals, emphasizingsocial and environmental impact, sustainable finance, and sourcingacross various industries. As a visionary leader, you will definebusiness strategy, cultivate client relationships, and championsustainability and environmental consulting services across allbusiness areas.

Your dynamic role extends beyondcommercial development and encompasses developing growth strategiesfor MEP/PPS UK, overseeing the delivery of client work to ensurequality and technical accuracy in collaboration with technicalmanagers and consultants, and actively supporting businessdevelopment through networking, event representation, andcollaboration with other offices. In addition, you will navigatethe financial, HR, and legal aspects of the business with thefinance manager and support staff, fostering a supportive andcollaborative atmosphere within the UK team. Elevate your impact byrepresenting the UK team at regional and group levels, ensuringstrong relationships with other offices, leveraging centralresources, and aligning with the broader groupstrategy.

You will bring effective communicationskills in English, a client-focused approach and a proven trackrecord in commercial business development within the UK and widerglobal market. Your leadership will encompass team leadership,negotiation proficiency, and a goal-orientedmindset.

It is expected that you will have abachelors degree in sustainability, environmental engineering or arelated field and a Masters degree or qualification insustainability will be advantageous. and your prior workingexperience in environmental or sustainability fields, particularlyin energy efficiency, renewable energy, circular economy,resilience, and social/community services will be highly valued.Additional experience in the food and agriculture sector isdesirable.
