Pay Range: $16.50$22.88USD/Hour

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with 1 to 2years of previous medical device assembly or ISO certified assemblyexperience.
• In lieu of a high school diplomamust have 2 to 3 years of previous medical device assembly or ISOcertified assembly experience.
• Must be ableto communicate by way of telephone e mail or in person tosupervisors leads and team members.
• Must beable to understand verbal and written work instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills as required toperform job duties (add subtract multiply divide).
• Must be able to work in a clean room environment andfollow the clean room environment practices and procedures.
• Must be able to perform repetitive workaccording to set procedures sequence and pace.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practice GoodManufacturing Practices and Lean Manufacturingpreferred.
• Maintains confidentiality ofdocuments and processes.
• Must have fine motorskills and high degree of dexterity and eye coordination to workwith and assemble small parts and subassemblies using both hands.
• Must be able to operate manufacturing andmeasurement equipment when applicable following appropriatetraining; not limited to: microscopes test equipment EFDsultrasonic welders soldering irons dial calipers pressure gages andrulers.
• Basic MS Windows skills and sitespecific PC programs as required to perform job duties followingtraining.

Responsibilities:

• Successfully attained the knowledge skills and abilitiesassociated with the Assembler I job description.
• Experienced in assembling medical devices on two or moreproduct lines at or above the quantity standard rate projected bythe supervisor or lead.
• Demonstrates anunderstanding of our Quality System Policies by referencing andexplaining written line procedures.
• Completeand maintain accurate written records of manufacturing operationson production documentation following appropriate training i.e.Device History Records Data Sheets and Lot Control.
• Understand and carry out instructions by their assignedSupervisor or Lead regarding priorities work schedules specialassignments job standards and related information required to buildmedical devices.
• Adaptable to changes inprocedures and is able to learn new procedures due to product lineand technology modifications.
• May be asked tocross train on a variety of product line operations.
• May assist Assembler III or Lead in training procedures.
• General understanding of LEAN ManufacturingPrincipals to assist in improving established metrics.
• Proactively informs the lead or supervisor of materialshortages.
• Maintains a safe work environmentby following and practicing good housekeeping and safety guidelinespolicies (e.g. ergonomics job rotation stretching exercises toolhandling and preventive maintenance).
• Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and workovertime and varying shifts as needed.
• Usestime effectively and constructively does not engage in idleconversation that disrupts others and or the assigned operationstays in the work area and does not abuse break times.
• Volunteers in Shared Leadership activities. i.e. KanbanManagement Calibration and Metrics Board Maintenance.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• All Other Essential Duties asdirected.
