Bank General Radiographer – Rivers Hospital – Bank Hours

We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to join our team.

The department performs a wide variety of general radiography and ultrasound. As part of this role you will be part of the on-call team. The department is open between the hours of 8-8 and working some Saturdays will be required.

We are based on the Herts & Essex boarder and are passionate about quality of care throughout the hospital. The hospital is equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment, and has very high quality clinical standards including effective infection prevention measures. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The five fully equipped theatres with ultra clean air technology are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement. Two-day surgery suites are suitable for minor surgery and endoscopy procedures.

What you’ll bring with you

Professional registration in the UK

Experience in general radiography

Knowledge of radiation and patient safety

The ability to be able to work alone at times

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and customer service skills

To be flexible, adaptable and be able to demonstrate a patient focussed attitude to delivery of the highest standards of clinical care

Good knowledge of IT

Essential requirements

Current HCPC registration

DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography

Evidence of CPD
