Job Description

The Golf Turf Specialist maintains and enhances golf course facilities by assisting with irrigation and other construction projects.

Performs unskilled and semi-skilled work of a routine, repetitive nature in a responsible manner, such as shoveling, raking, digging, mowing, weed trimming, plant maintenance, building and facility maintenance including cleaning. Performs unskilled and semi-skilled work of a routine, repetitive nature in a responsible manner (i.e., mowing, weed trimming, plant maintenance, building and facility maintenance such as cleaning). Performs routine maintenance on golf course equipment. Makes minor mechanical repairs and service on division's equipment as directed. Works with skilled-level employees toward to completion of construction renovation projects and repair work of facilities. Works towards the proficiency in the operation and maintenance of equipment. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
