About the opportunity

We have an exciting 12 month FTC for a Materials and Ingredients planner within our Clandeboye site.As a Material and Ingredients Planner you will be responsible for planning materials and ingredients to deliver operational and scheduling requirements for a manufacturing site, without compromise to safety or quality.

About you

Operational Coordination

Responsible for managing milk flows across site in a controllable manner, understand and provide suitable contingencies. Understand plant functions and capabilities in order to determine and provide direction on priority plant actions on a daily/hourly basis Responsible for coordination and control of sub region ingredients exiting and entering site. Ensuring ingredients are planned appropriately into required products, staged and communicated to plant teams. Manage rework inventory for the site, including inventory accuracy and ensure that any rework activity is accurately reflected in the production schedule. Optimise all rework opportunities where they exist/ have potential to exist in the schedule to enable low down grade amounts. This includes assess compatibility to specs and initiating approval. Manage exception stock for all Clandeboye product, providing leadership with clear visibility to support effective management of stock. Manage lactose planning and inventory for site including inventory accuracy and ensure that lactose requirements are accurately reflected in the production schedule. Exception Management: Be the first point of escalation for production schedule exceptions on site, ensure that appropriate analysis of the exception and possible recoveries has been completed and engage stakeholders as required Monitoring & managing downtime – ensure clear communication around the maintenance & servicing of process equipment across all plants on site. Support & Assist with the long term planning of materials and ingredients to align with Fonterra Global strategies. Provide support and assistance to the Regional Production Scheduling team by being the operational interface for site daily milk allocation

Process/ Systems Improvement

Develop and manage all required site systems needed to support milk planning and ingredient scheduling.

Communication and Leadership

Responsible for developing, leading and maintaining effective scheduling communication forums including daily site calls. Communicate changes to plans through these forums, required relationship contacts or supporting documents providing clear decisions, potential risks and plans for action Provide leadership and direction to team leaders on site to ensure that plan is adhered to and deadlines are met

Projects

·Lead projects and other tasks as provided by Plant Manager to support delivery of department Masterplan and NZM OGSM.
