We are recruiting for a Dealer Principal / Branch Manager for our Flagship dealership in Manchester on a full time permanent basis.Do you have experience within the automotive industry and have a proven experience of running a busy HGV workshop & aftersales business?Do you have experience of managing teams of technicians or vehicle mechanics alongside all support roles?In this role, you will strategically manage and develop all aspects of an MAN Branch Aftersales Business, focussing on delivering excellent customer service, parts sales and margin, workshop productivity and efficiency, to ensure profitability. Ensuring a balanced and consistent approached is applied to steering & coaching within the areas of responsibility is a key area of focus.In order to perform this role effectively, you will develop & maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues, customers and stake holders whilst ensuring high levels of Customer Service awareness are delivered. You will promote learning for others, share ideas and information and take pride in achievements of team objectives, recognising staff appropriately. You will deliver and maintain the high standards that a flagship dealer should expect.Ideally you will have an automotive background with a minimum of 5 years customer service experience in retail sales & service at a senior level and ideally have previous success with team management or supervision of at least 40 staff across several disciplines. Having a detailed knowledge and understanding of the truck industry in terms of service, parts and parts sales will be an advantage and overall understanding of balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow and standard business metrics will serve you well.We feel this is an amazing opportunity for a dynamic individual who will support the team deliver the highest levels of Customer service levels.It is important to us to make sure we look after our employees and therefore we offer a competitive salary + plus bonus for this senior role.
