Staff Nurse (RGN)

Hourly Rate: £19.25

Days and Nights Shifts

Hours Per Week: Full Time and Part Time available

Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN) role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
  • Valid UK NMC Pin
  • Clear DBS

This beautiful care home has 78 rooms and cares for people aged 65 and over who need care with nursing. It is situated close public transport links. The care team of experienced nurses, carers and support staff work to deliver a personalised care approach, all tailored to individual needs, promoting independence, wellbeing and self-worth.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring that the care, welfare and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard
  • Carrying out assessments and evaluations
  • Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly
  • Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in record keeping, documentation and health and safety
  • Mentoring junior member of staff
  • Undertaking specific duties as delegated by the Home Manager
