We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Automotive Consulting team.

You’ll be joining a world class team at Capgemini Engineering, backed by top investors that all believe in the future we are creating. Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:-

Develop and review System and Software requirements for Automotive projects . Quality analysis of the entire development process. Quality assessment of Operational Analysis, System Analysis, Logical Analysis and Physical Analysis. Develop and review SW development including SiL, MiL, Code (Peer) reviews, HiL, Unit Testing, MISRA Compliance, PolySpace, etc.  Develop and review of the validation of the system-level features. Develop and review of acceptance testing

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.​

Your Role

Essential Qualification and Experience

Degree qualified in software engineering or related/relevant subject Knowledge of automotive product development (V-Cycle) from concept to launch completion. Strong practical knowledge of Embedded C. Strong user of MATLAB/Simulink. Experience in ASPICE, ASIL Levels. Knowledge of multiple automotive electronic systems from working as a systems architect on embedded systems in automotive. Experience of working in a cross functional team to tackle complex issue resolution. Must be able to manage large workloads in a high-pressure environment and prioritize accordingly. Network Protocols (CAN, FlexRay, LIN, Ethernet, Wifi). Strong recent experience in Diagnostics protocols and knowledge of UDS/ODX. Experience of system integration engineering and software delivery. Experience of managing technical delivery through Tier 1 suppliers. In depth working knowledge of complex real time operating systems. Experience Authoring technical documentation in requirements capture tools e.g. Doors, Polarion. Experience of Autosar SW architecture. Experience of E2E communication protection. Advanced knowledge of Automotive standards. Experience of cross functional leadership. Technical engineering background and a knowledge of using calculation and analysis to drive design.

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)​

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. ​

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.​

There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.​
