The role will require you to accurately input data and maintain database information systems. This includes collating information from partner services and organisations. You will be the main point of contact for the administration of appointments within the 0-19 CYP Public Health Service for parent/carers and young people, in Oxfordshire.

Main duties of the job

As an Administrator (0-19 CYP Public Health Services) you will work as part of the Single Point of access (SPA). When appropriate hold a Chat Health Licence to provide administrative support to the practitioners working on the platform.

You will provide efficient administrative support to the 0-19 CYP Public Health Service for the children, young people, and families, supporting the implementation of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme (HCP).

Accurately inputting data and maintaining database information systems.

You will be the main point of contact for the administration of appointments within the 0-19 CYP Public Health Service for parents/carers and young people in Oxfordshire.

Job responsibilities

The role will provide comprehensive and timely Administrative support to the CYP0-19 service.

Accurately inputting, correcting and closing patient information on Electronic Health Records using relevant clinical databases and Microsoft Office packages. Prioritising workload to meet the needs of staff and clients in a timely manner. Establish and maintain clinicians diaries, making appointments, resolving diary conflict ,scheduling and rearranging diary entries. Respond to phone calls and emails ,communicating politely and effectively with clients, healthcare staff and others ,courteously and responsively. Adhere to Trust policies and be aware of responsibilities in regards to confidentiality when using emails, IT and social media.

Qualifications

Essential

GSCE pass in Maths & English NVQ2 in business administration or equivalent or office/administration experience NVQ2 in business administration or equivalent or office/administration experience

Desirable

ECDL (European Computer Driving License) or equivalent experience

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

Competent in using various Microsoft applications. Previous experience in an administrative role Interpersonal skills, face to face and telephone Ability to accurately maintain records and electronic filing systems. Able to plan own workload and prioritise work of several managers following local policy Aptitude to take and transcribe minutes.
